COLLEGE CREDITS & CEU's

Great Expectations is a college-level leadership development process designed to satisfy the
requirements at regionally-accredited colleges and universities offering assessments of prior learning.

Such assessments, known as
Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition (PLAR) evaluations, typically
involve the preparing of a Learning Portfolio containing proof of the college equivalency of the program
or programs being appraised.

A copy of the most comprehensive items needed for most Learning Portfolio's is provided to all Great
Expectations graduates at the final session of the core program.

Many graduates of less rigorous (e.g. 42-hour) core programs designed by members of LCG have
received 3 college credits in the lower baccalaureate division in communications or speech. As a result,
LCG
believes that graduates of the Great Expectations (54-hour) core program should be encouraged to
pursue no fewer than 3
undergraduate credits via college and university PLAR assessments, plus an
additional 3 undergraduate credits for successful completion of 50 or more hours of Embed
reinforcement training. Of course, as in all matters related to the granting and transferring of college
credit there are no guarantees and all final decisions regarding the awarding of credit rest solely with
the college or university making the assessment.

The Leadership Capital Group LLC does not maintain a list of institutions granting credit for its programs,
nor is it able to influence college or university decisions on behalf of graduates. Students interested in
more information about the earning of college credit during high school are asked to contact their school
guidance counselor or college advisor.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS

A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a universal measure of achievement used by companies and
professional organizations worldwide to verify the successful completion of a quality educational or
training program. Medical doctors, dentists, registered nurses, attorneys, certified public accountants
and public school teachers are among the many professionals often required to accumulate CEU's on
some specified basis in order to remain licensed. Typically, one CEU is awarded for every ten contact
hours of training or education conducted by a qualified instructor.

All Great Expectations graduates automatically receive 5.4 CEU's upon completion of the core program
via an official notation on each person's certificate of completion. Additional units may be awarded to
core program graduates at the discretion of school officials for every ten hours of successful
participation in Embed reinforcement modules.

CONTACT HOUR
COMPARISON

Most undergraduate (3 credit)
courses at American colleges and
universities involve about 40
hours of classroom time.

The Great Expectations core
program involves 54 hours of
classroom time, followed by up to
500 hours of instructor-led
reinforcement training.

THE OPINION OF ONE
COLLEGE ADMISSIONS
COUNSELOR

The Great Expectations process
far exceeds any reasonable
definition of a college-level course.

In fact, I know of no other college
course in leadership,
communications or public speaking
that shares its depth and
dimension.

A WORD FROM DR. PELL

I served on the business school
faculties at New York University,
The City University of New York
and St. John's University. Great
Expectations was designed with
the most rigorous of college-level
standards in mind. It is the
most comprehensive and
results-producing leadership
process I've seen, and far
superior to any similar program
on any college or university
campus.

I believe every teenager is a high-potential teen.
And I believe the results generated by
Great Expectations prove it.
